Very nice and friendly staff.

Ultimately, the repairs failed and the braces came unglued again. The guitar sounded horrible. I ended up selling it for a fraction of what it would've been worth because of the horrible repair work, re-fin and missing original parts. I regret ever trusting this man with such a precious heirloom that had been in my family since the 1950s.

Very horrible experience! I took a vintage Gibson acoustic guitar that I had inherited from my grandmother to have some braces re-glued. Dean had cut off the back of the guitar to repair the braces. During the repair he broke the back of the guitar and refinished it with God knows what, without my permission. Protocol for a repair like this would be done through the sound hole, not hacking off the back of the guitar! And you never refinish a vintage guitar! If you do you use the same nitrocellulose lacquer that was originally on it.

I do not know how this man sleeps at night.

So after waiting almost 3 months I finally get the call that my guitar was done. When I received the guitar I was in such a state of shock and brokenhearted that I just left and went home. When I got home, I realized that the original vintage truss rod cover and bridge pins were replaced with black pins and a homemade trussrod cover. When I called Dean to ask him where they were and why they were replaced? He told me that he had misplaced the truss rod cover and the bridge pins fell apart when he pulled them out. Which was a total lie. I had taken care of that guitar for 20 years before my grandmother gave it to me and those pins would have never broken. When I questioned him further about it, like why didn't he put the bridge pens in a bag and give them back to me? He got very angry with me and said that it is out of his store and no longer his problem!
